One Minute Well Rounded Voice Workout

 Sometime we work so hard on one thingy that we forget the other thingys and our voice isn’t balanced and the registers aren’t connected.

 

I have a very important question. Is your voice complete? Well if you want to be able to get tons o’ jobs singing, then you have to be able to sings tons o’ different stuff. That means your voice hast to be able to do the splits. Like in CHEERLEADING! YAY!

 

This one minute exercise is gonna get your voice balanced out and give you complete connection. Especially if you are someone who is constantly working on high notes. Sometime we work so hard on one thingy that we forget the other thingys and our voice isn’t balanced and the registers aren’t connected. So if you are having problems singing as high as you would like, maybe it’s because you can’t sing low.

 

HINT: You gotta get DOWN to get UP.

Here is some “blondie logic“for ya: The voice is a muscle and muscles need exercise. It’s not rocket science.

Plus if you are using or want to use your voice muscles on a professional level then it needs even more exercise.

Just like professional athletes’ muscles do. Don’t worry though, the voice is a micro-muscle. In comparison to your booty muscle, it doesn’t need hours of exercise. That means you don’t have to practice for hours and hours each day. Just a little bit goes a looooong way. So do this exercise and get your voice to do the splits and stay connected.
